City of Toccoa
Toccoa was home to Paul Anderson, the Guinness Book of World Records' "Strongest Man". Anderson was also the 1956 Olympic Gold Medallist in super heavy weight and weightlifting.
According to 2000 Census, the City of Toccoa had a population of 9,323 persons. Between 1990 and 2000, the city experienced a population increase of 6.9%, compared to the state growth during this period of 26.4%.
